On May 5, GEC held our spring fundraiser at the Marine Park Golf Club. The 11th annual beer tasting event had local distributors on hand to serve a variety of beer to guests (including Cinco de Mayo favorites like Modelo and Lagunitas). Beer was just the beginning, however, as the evening included a massive buffet. raffles, prizes, and music from the amazing live band MADDJACK, back by popular demand after performing last year.
Everyone had a great time and people came in a generous mood, resulting in over $15,000 being raised for GEC programs. Thanks to our event chairs, Stephen Chiaino, Jennifer Herusso, and Paul Rutuelo, and GEC staff and volunteers who helped make the event a success.
